Breeders Of The Year 4 years on a row, and 4 champions!

Kennel Croft was first registered in 2004, and accepted in FCI 2005. Runned by 5
persons from 2011.
Arnhild Carlsen, Janne Andersen, Kjell Arvid Torgersen, Wenche & Torkild Tangen.
Arnhild started in Shelties in 1986, and first litter on breed-term, was born in 1987. She
asked from 1990 the prefix Sheltibo. She grew up with hunting-dogs of different
kinds. Dunker, Sweitzer Støver and Finnish Støver.
Today many, many litters and generations are born since the beginning, and
the success unbelieveable the last years especially since we
started to co-operate in the kennel.
Sheltibo was taken over by Heidi Fossaas,
as Arnhild joined Crofts.
Late 2004 Janne & Kjell in Stavanger, purchased a male-dog from Crofts ,2 nd.litter under the new prefix. His name is
N DK uch Croft`s Brown Sugar. He was
ordered as a pet only. Kjell`s parents were dogbreeders under the affix Kjanto,
and he definately did not want any showing or breeding. Janne was earlier in miniatures, so they were not unexperienced in dogs. They wanted
only a companion at their small farm. The reality became
quite different. They were very soon active in showing and breeding
shelties, and became co-owners in Kennel Croft in 2008, and best friends.
In
early June 2009 it was decided that Torkild & Wenche Tangen in
Kristiansand, would join the prefix Croft`s too. Wenche is Kjell`s sister,
and they first
owned the affix Of Kjanto. Heritated from their parents and then in
Collies. Since they already owned 2 Croft sheltie-bitches,
and became our best friends, it was a
pleasure to have them in our small gang.
Janne & Kjell, Wenche & Torkild have been driving hundreds of miles to shows.
Arnhild has the latest 4 years been breeding puppies and showing only a little. As Kennel
Croft became Breeders Of the Year in 2008,2009,2010 & 2011 it is
in first hand Janne/Kjell/Wenche & Torkild to thank for te lovely
show-results.
Beside the first champion in Croft`s N DK Croft`s Brown Sugar, we got one
new Champion in 2010 Nuch Croft`s A Kind Of Magic. And many,many CC`s and
Best Of Breed and Best Opposite Sex.
To
win BOB and BOS at the NSSK Christmas Show 2010 with mother and son, were
just stunning, PTW 07 Croft`s Roll Over Lay Down & her som N DK RO uch Croft`s I
Want It All.
2 new champions in 2011 Nuch Croft`s The Winner Take It All & N DK RO uch
Croft`s I Want It All.
The
amount of dogs is still very small, and we are all grateful to them and to
everyone contributing to the success.
In 2011 & 2012 new generations will be born, and for shure some small, hopefully, new
stars will stay in the kennel.
The show must go on!

containing 5 at home.

8-9th generations from the beginning see daylight these days, and some strong bitchlines are
the most important tool in our breeding. Our
challenge in the future will be to keep up the good, winning Croft-type that is
set. Also good health and temper....
We will all work hard for this. The litters from the last 2 years seems
very type-like and it will be fun to follow the youngsters kept in our breed in
2012!
